Start with operations, not tools
A useful automation project begins by understanding how the business currently works. Before selecting a dashboard, bot or AI assistant, the team should identify who does what, where delays happen, what data is collected and which decisions need reliable visibility.
Convert conversations into scope
Informal WhatsApp messages are not enough for serious delivery. The safer path is a discovery call, requirement register, workflow map, success criteria and a simple approval trail. This protects both the business owner and the delivery team.
Build only what improves the workflow
The best first version should remove friction from lead capture, follow-ups, reporting, support or customer communication. Features that do not support a clear operational outcome can wait for a later phase.
